House Ranch
One of the first obsessions that I discovered when I first moved to the states was McDonald’s french fries with ranch. Ranch, the sauce of the creamy gods, is still a favorite, albeit not the ultra processed Micky D’s sauce anymore. Nowadays, I am more granola and like to make everything from scratch. House buttermilk ranch is no exception to the rule: make it at home and it will beat any store bought ranch. Anytime. Anywhere.

dill, finely chopped

Instructions
- Start by making the mayonnaise:
- Combine the egg yolk and mustard in a bowl, add salt and pepper. Whisking constantly, add the oil drop by drop, then in a steady stream. It will slowly emulsify and thicken. Slowly add the lemon juice to loosen the mayonnaise until you get your desired consistency.
- Add one cup of the mayonnaise and combine all of the rest of the ingredients except for the buttermilk.
- Add the buttermilk slowly until you get the consistency you like. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Voila, it is done and delicious. Easy and no weird ingredients you do not recognize.
