Often times this level of support by the community has a hard time scaling to enterprise level users. The simple fact is, most open source community members are investing personal time into answering questions, and enterprise users deserve the responsiveness of dedicated partners who are investing their corporate means into the support of the technology. Support and Maintenance Subscription (SMS)
Basis provides commercial support for the Autopsy platform to give you and your team enterprise level backing for your investigation needs.
Your subscription to Basis SMS services includes:
- Fixed number of support tickets per year per subscription and access to highly responsive support engineers (guaranteed 24 hour response time during business hours)
- Support for:
- Autopsy and Basis developed modules
- Any custom development that occurs for you
A Basis engineer will work with you to determine the type of issue you are having and attempt to help you resolve in a way that does not interrupt your workflow. If the issue is classified as a bug, it will be placed in our next development cycle for resolution and committed back to the open source community or included in the next release of a module.
